I got this adorable fabric from Fat quarter shop. They have a daily special and you can definitely get great fabric from some of your favorite designers for a great price.
Cut Your Fabric
- White/Cream: 8 – 3″ squares, and 5 – 2.5″ squares
- Small Flowers Blue: 4 – 2.5″ squares
- Pink: 4 – 3″ squares
- Darker Blue: 4 – 3″ squares
Create Pink Half Square Triangles

Using four of the cream or white 3″ square fabric and the Pink 3″ squares, sew together eight Half Square Triangle units as shown in the picture above using a 1/4 seam allowance.
You need to square up the units to 2.5″ square using your cutting mat and rotary cutter. Set these aside to use in your wedding rings quilt block. Press your seams one direction.
Blue Half Square Triangles

You are going to follow the same instructions above. Don’t forget to square up the unit to 2.5″ squares. You also need to press your seam allowance.
Assemble Your Quilt Block

Create each of your rows by laying out your blocks. Sew your row using a 1/4″ seam allowance. I recommend that you press your seams all going one direction. You will alternate on the next row and so on.
Once all your rows are finished, sew your rows together. When you have finished your wedding rings quilt block square it up to 10″ squared.
