Assemble Your Quilt Pattern

We do have a quilt size chart you will love having handy. You can simply download it for a great reference. Each quilt block is 10″ squared so you will simply create as many blocks as you need.
Don’t forget to take into account that you will be adding a 2.5-3″ border and binding.
For this baby quilt pattern, I used 4 squares per row and 6 rows vertically. You will always sew using a 1/4″ seam allowance. When I press my seams for my quilt center I alternate per row so they will lay better when I sew my rows together. When I add the border, I press my seams towards the border.
Simply line up your quilt blocks and sew each row using a 1/4″ seam allowance. I used a matching fabric for the border doing a 3″ border and use a 2 1/2″ wide quilt binding.
Finish Your Quilt Pattern
Finish your quilt by sandwiching your quilt pieces. A baby quilt is easy to quilt using a domestic sewing machine. You can also use a long arm machine if you have one.
