A baby quilt measures 50 x 60″. You will need the following:

  • 30 quilt blocks
  • 4 border fabrics: 3″ x 53″ (2) 3″ x 62″ (2)
  • Binding fabric: 2″ x 53″ (2) and 2″ x 62″ (2)
  • Backing fabric
  • Quilt backing

You are going to sew 6 rows of 5 quilt blocks. You want to sew each piece and then press your seams going one direction for 1 row and the opposite direction for your next row. Alternative your pressing to help your quilt rows line up.

Sew each quilt block with 1/4″ seam allowance.

After you finish your rows of your easy memory quilt pattern, go ahead and sew each row to each other. Press your seams going in one direction. I typically press them towards the top of my quilt.

Add your top and bottom border and then your side borders. Press your seams towards your inner and outer border.
